We are excited to welcome Fleur de Jager and Fatima Al-Shariff to our lab as they begin their 10-week bachelor thesis research projects, which include two weeks in the lab to observe and learn from ongoing experiments.
Fleur will explore additional roles of CXCL8 beyond its well-known function as a neutrophil attractant. Fatima will investigate the individual and combined effects of BCR, CD40, and IL-21 stimulation on B cells. Given the wide range of experimental conditions used in current studies for different readouts, her thesis will assess whether specific stimulations consistently correlate with particular outcomes.
Welcome to the team, Fleur and Fatima!
