• PhD Candidate starting

We are very happy to welcome Vera Middelkamp in our lab as a doctoral candidate. Her research will focus on the innate immune signature on human naive T cells and its impact on humoral immunity. Welcome!

  • Start Thesis Project – Elisa

Elisa Fleischmann, a third-year Bachelor’s student majoring in biomedical sciences at University College Utrecht, will be joining our lab for her bachelor’s thesis project. Her research will focus on reviewing various models that study T-B cell interactions, providing a balanced analysis of their strengths and limitations. We look forward to her insights on this topic.

  • Start Major Research Project – Bryn

Bryn will begin his 36-week major research project in our lab, in collaboration with Prof. Femke van Wijk’s lab, investigating how innate immune signals influence naïve T cell function. We are looking forward to his enthusiastic energy.

  • Start of the T-B cell lab

I’m a happy to announce that I have been appointed as principal investigator at the Center for Translational Immunology, (CTI) Utrecht, the Netherlands. Our lab will focus on the intimate interactions between T and B cells in lymphoid structures, in health and disease. Lymph nodes are essential components of the adaptive immune system but have…
